I live and paint blocks from the ocean in Ocean Beach, SD. The fog, the surfers, the golden hour light — it all finds its way into my brush. I paint traditionally with gouache and digitally on my iPad, a 2016 model that hasn’t been updated since 2019. My goal is to capture the beauty of my coastal life and hold onto these everyday moments that otherwise would have escaped with the blink of an eye. Art is not only a hobby.
