To be eligible for a return, your print must be unused, unframed, and in the exact condition you received it. It must also be returned in its original, undamaged packaging (including the protective tube or flat mailer).

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of the products, I cannot accept returns on:

• Gift cards

• Downloadable digital art files

• Custom or commissioned prints (made specifically for you)

Proof of Purchase

To complete your return, please ensure you have your order number or receipt handy. I cannot process returns without proof of purchase.

Partial Refunds

While I hope it doesn’t happen, partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

• A print shows obvious signs of handling, wear, or damage caused by the customer

• The item is not returned in its original condition, or is missing parts, not due to my error

• The return is initiated within 14 days, but the item is postmarked and shipped back more than 30 days after the original delivery date

The Refund Process

Once your returned print arrives back at my studio and passes inspection, I will send you an email to confirm I have received it and to let you know whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, I will refund you the full amount you paid for the item (excluding the original shipping charges) directly to your original method of payment. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take a few business days to post the funds to your account.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t seen your refund appear:

1. Double-check your bank or credit card account again
2. Contact your credit card company — they may have processing delays
3. Contact your bank, as refunds often take a few days to clear

If you’ve completed these steps and still haven’t received your refund, please reach out to me directly at art@vanessa-creates.com, and I will track it down for you.

Sale Items

Please note that sale items, clearance prints, and discounted promotions are final sale and cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

I take great care in packaging your art, but if your print arrives defective or physically damaged, I want to make it right! I will happily exchange it for the same item.

To initiate an exchange, please email me at art@vanessa-creates.com with a photo of the damage and your order number, and I will provide you with return instructions.

Gifts

If your print was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, I will issue a store gift certificate for the value of your return once I receive the item back.

If the order was not marked as a gift at checkout (or the gift-giver shipped it to themselves first), I will issue the refund directly to the original purchaser.

Return Shipping Costs (Please Read)

You are responsible for covering the shipping costs to send your print back to me. I do not deduct this amount from your refund — instead, you simply pay the carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.) directly when you mail the package back.

Here’s how it works:

• You purchase and print your own return shipping label

• You mail the artwork back to the address I provide you via email

• Once the print arrives safely and is inspected, I will refund you 100% of what you paid for the item (the original outbound shipping fee is non-refundable)

Please note: For added peace of mind, I highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for higher-value prints. Vanessa Creates cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost in the mail on their way back to me.
