Bring a piece of real San Diego neighborhood character into your home with this premium art print.

This high-quality fine art print captures the iconic Sand 'N Sea Liquor sign on Rosecrans in Point Loma — a familiar landmark to anyone who's spent time in the area, painted against a wide, sun-bleached sky. It's the kind of everyday scene that locals pass by without a second glance, transformed into a bold, nostalgic piece of art.

Digitally painted on my iPad, this piece blends the soft texture of traditional gouache with the vivid color and crisp detail of digital illustration. The result is a graphic, character-filled focal point that brings a slice of San Diego's everyday life into any room.

Printed on museum-quality, thick matte paper, this piece is designed to last. The archival-grade materials ensure that the colors remain true and fade-resistant, bringing a warm, nostalgic accent to your space for years to come.

This print works beautifully in a variety of spaces:

Gallery Walls: Pair it with other San Diego or coastal prints for a curated, local look.

Entryway or Hallway: A perfect conversation piece for a narrow wall.

Home Bar or Kitchen: A natural fit for a piece that celebrates a neighborhood liquor store.

Office or Studio: Adds a nostalgic, sun-soaked San Diego energy to a creative workspace.

Framing Recommendations:

The unframed version fits a standard 8.5×11 frame (or a larger frame with an 8.5×11 mat for a more gallery-style presentation).

Style: A thin black frame complements the bold red lettering. A natural wood frame softens the retro feel.

Matting: If using a larger frame, choose a white or off-white mat to give the artwork room to breathe.
